    Hey, No_Lift :TU::TU:.

    I find out next week if the passenger side upper control arm is "really" bent.

    The set on my Regal now has been there for over 6 years ... probably got bent a few months ago. Ball joints are on them ... heavily considering the one's at Summit.

    ... one more thing regarding a fuel pump relay; will a bad/faulty relay cause a electric fuel pump to sound like the pump is working fine ... YET pump no fuel?

    This happened twice since Tyrone installed my TH400 a few weeks ago ... 2-1/2 psi of fuel ... shut off.

    Then, 7 minutes later the pump fed 8-psi of fuel ... no problem.

    You likely have one of three things happening...

    1. The pump and or filters have trash in them and it cleared itself out. Could be junk in tank being sucked up?? Depends on age and condition of tank. Or the junk could be coming from elsewhere -- like ptfe tap that has found itself in the fuel system -- always use the paste on threaded connections and none on AN fittings.

    2. The fuel level was two low and you weren't getting proper suction.

    3. Your battery/alt were weak and not providing the proper voltage. Check all your electrical connections and grounds, confirm battery voltage both sitting and running.

    I'd personally suspect 1 or 3 unless you're cognisant to 2.

    ... CLOGGED fuel filter #2 under driver side of my Buick ... found out a few days ago. The pumps, relay, and grounds were fine.
    Fuel filter #2 has re-usable element; I bought 3 replacement elements.

    Hey, No_Lift :TU::TU:

    Thanks AGAIN for your time and expertise ... really.

    My buddy JohnnyLark :TU::TU: mentioned my control arm saga yesterday ... and I UNDERSTAND that the "steel shaft" arms are BETTER for my set-up over the "aluminum shaft" arms I currently have.

    These are on the way ... and I thank you very much for PREVENTING my repeating history 6-years from now.

    Speedway even sent me a UPS return label to return the "aluminum shaft" upper control arms.

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

    I don't know... seems like it pulls to the left and maybe you have an exhaust leak. Sell it while it's still running! :pp Good to see you got the TC fixed and having fun.

    Good afternoon, ALL.
    I just got my May 2017 MUSCLECAR Review magazine.

    It appears to mention Mr. Steven Covington; could it be the Steve Covington here on V8Buick.com?

    :)

    DERRR>>> YEP That's me... Ever get all those electrical bugs out of your car? (I haven't been following your postings as most got to be youtube vids for a while.) The only reason I go by 'steve covington' on here is that 'steven covington' took up to many letters;

    Yes-Sir; I had a feeling it was YOU. :)
    I feel as if I know a new celebrity. I'm going to show the magazine to my Princess.
    I got excited as soon as I noticed your name.

    You are INDEED, The-Man. God Bless.

    Regarding my dash gauge cluster SAGA, my mechanic and I agreed that it was cheaper to just add AutoMeter mechanical gauges.
    I still have what you sent me.

    Most recent video below.

    It's GREAT hearing from you, Steve. I appreciate all of your EXPERTISE and kindness.

    Good afternoon, ALL.

    These photos are of my new Accel 8mm ignition wires I custom cut and installed. The RED billet aluminum wire separators are from Amazom ... dirt-cheap.
    My Holley 850 carb is getting "fixed," as it was pouring fuel into my intake manifold with the engine/Regal OFF. I found out one day, when my instincts led me to removing the air cleaner assembly and staring into the Holley 850 ... I couldn't believe it.

    Moving forward, I like the fuel line kit and Holley fuel pressure regulator & regulator bracket I installed. I also routed the 1/2 inch braided stainless steel fuel line from the TA mechanical pump to the regulator, in the factory position. I have a D.U.I. fuel line heat sleeve ready for that 3-feet of fuel line.

    I need to buy a new/replacement speedometer cable @ $12 at Auto Zone.
    When my tranny was rebuilt, Tyrone didn't notice it resting on my driver side exhaust.
    I'm changing it ... I designed and built my Regal's dash gauge cluster. I also bought titanium exhaust header wrap, to protect my speedo & shifter cables.

    In closing ... the Jim Wiese 9.5 inch 3000-3200 stall converter is a work of brilliance!
    That thing allows my Stage-1 motor to throw my Regal-T around like a helpless rag doll LOL. As soon as my Holley returns ... straight to Pep-Boys for upper control arm swap, and wheel alignment ... finally.
    Then ... it's gonna' be TORQUE CONVERTER TIME with the drag radials ... at the track.

    So far so good, Thank God.
