I know what you mean. That's partly why I sold the 68 before our AZ move. Next will be a 'vert. :)

Yep I had the chance and could kick myself in the ass right now for not purchasing it. Now I wait and search for another

I had the SunCoupe to the Easter Car show. It got pretty much attention. It's surprising how many people said they'd never seen one.

How much rust does it have?

Some in the floor. The worst in under the back seat on the driver's side. Small hole in the header. The rest has been bondo'ed and car repainted by the PO.

I wish I could figure out how to add pics here... I don't have any photos stored on a "url"

    I can email pics.

I bought the car about a year ago.
Exhaust manifolds were leaking, I broke some bolts and needed to pull the engine to repair the exhaust manifold issues.
While the engine was out it got a good cleaning, painted and new gaskets. A tuneup and carb rebuild. I didn't open the engine up.
This is a 115K mile car with original engine. The valve train is getting a little noisey.
The AC compressor is missing. I'm sure the system needs a lot of work.
    The aftermarket radio doesn't work
The blower motor doesn't work. The heater core is still connected and does not leak.
The interior lights don't work. The headlight, blinkers, brake and reverse lights are fine.
Some idiot cut the rear arm rests for speakers.
The top is in great shape with a glass rear window. The top works, but you need to give it a push to get it going.
    Black parade boot included.
    New 14" BFGs.
    Dual Exhaust.
    New aluminum/plastic radiator.
All new brake shoes and wheel cylinders. 4 wheel drum brakes.
Could use some front end suspension work.
It's a one wheel tire smoker. The previous had the transmission rebuilt, but it has a drip at the yolk.
All that being said, I drove the car home about 50 miles when I bought it-Before I did any work on it.
The header panel has a golf ball size hole. There is a hole in the floor under the back seat.
The rest of the floor has some minor rust issues, if there is such a thing.
The front fenders have no rust and the quarters have been bondo'ed and the car painted before I bought it.
The wheel well trim still looks and fits good. Bumpers are good. Grille has a small crack one the lower left side.
I have represented this car as accurately as I can. If I hadn't bought Staged70s SunCoupe, I'd keep this car but I'm out of space.

Not to get off topic here but. How's the flooding in your area? Hope your not close to that. Reminds me of last August here in South Louisiana

Thanks for the concern. Yes, the flooding is bad here....Department of Transportation has closed a stretch of highway 44, and threatening to close highway 55 tonight after rush hour.
People have been sandbagging homes and businesses, but now some families, my sister in law included, have flood water coming into their homes from their sewers.
Brianinstlouis is high and dry. Thankfully, our home is clear of any flood water by more than 10 miles.
