Finally got around to adding what in my opinion is a must for any GS. The sport steering wheel just looks so cool on these cars. Of course I'm holding on to the original wheel since this car is close to survivor class. Pre and post pictures below.

I'd love to have one of those for the Buchev!

Funny, the pictures appear correctly oriented on a desktop but they're rotated to the right on a mobile phone.

Looks great, give you an A-, A+ if horn and blinkers still work! :D

Love the look!! Is it a repo? If so, where did you get it and what size is it? I've been thinking of putting one in mine too.
    Nicely done!

I got this original 15" wheel from a forum member. Haven't seen a repo wheel but heard they're decent. I was looking to retain the "aged" look.

I have the GS wheel on the 67 Sportwagon but can't line it up right. The 'Buick' is canted to the right maybe 20-30 degrees. Heard from someone that it may be the rebuilt steering box was put in such that the splined shaft is a few splines out of place but have not tried to adjust. Comments?

If the wheel is "Cocked" now & wasn't before it's off a spline or two. The joint would have to be "Tapped" on. If off by more than that the bolt won't go through as designed & would require a bit more than"Tapping" on.

I had the same problem with my 72 Skylark, so took the wheel off
and remounted about 15 degrees to center it when driving.
Did notice a scribe mark on the hub that matched up mark on wheel
that were aligned prior to my rotation. So was worried about the horn
cancel cam working right afterwards, got by with it this time.
Wondering about just adjusting the tie rods to accomplish same result.
Have done that successfully on a couple of other cars.
In other words shortened one side and lengthened the other to get
centered steering wheel when running down fairly level road.
Did I cheat or do a not recommended trick!?
