Gday all from down under in Australia!! I'm about to embark on a bellytank landspeed build & intend on running one of my bigger nailheads. However, I'm struggling to find a record on the world's fastest NA Buick nailhead. When I search for it all that comes up is drag racing stuff. Does anyone on here know what the current (if any) record is on a salt flat for a Buick nailhead?? I'm aiming to go 200mph + so will require an estimated 450hp atleast. I've talked to my engine guy (nailhead specialist) & he reckons we could make that sort of power with many mods. it can be done & nothing will stop me!!!! Anyway guys appreciate all your input.
Gary Weldon from Canada is also working at 200MPH for years. Seems there's ALWAYS a fallback of some sort.
