An update on the GS, it sold this evening. Thanks for all of the interest! I am selling my highly documented low mileage 1971 Buick GS Stage 1. The car has just over 50,000 original miles and is numbers matching with the exception of the TH400 transmission. The offered at Barret-Jackson Palm Beach in 2008. It was advertised as a "Museum Piece". The car ended up in a collection and was then sold to a fussy owner in northern California. I purchased the car from that gentleman in 2014 and appear to be the 7th owner. The car was built in Flint Michigan and sold to a 19 year old female nein Hastings, Michigan. The gentleman I bought the car from contacted 4 of the 5 previous owners to verify the low mileage. The car has had one repaint of its super rare "rosewood" color (of the 801 Stage 1s produced in 1971 only 85 were painted rosewood). The car is stunning. The interior is original and perfect. Black interior with buckets, console, AM/FM, rear speaker, tinted glass, instrument gauges and clock. It is very, very nice. The car runs and drives great and is 100% numbers matching with the exception of the transmission. The only modifications I am aware of is the back wheels were widened to 8", I replaced one exhaust manifold (but have the original) and I added an N25 bumper and exhaust (you cant beat that look). The car comes with tons of receipts and documentation including the window sticker, owners manual and warranty card. Very interested in price, I have a friend, who is the original owner of a '71 GS455 and she is considering selling but not quite ready yet.
