Perhaps the deck lid. For a Chev I think the deck is it. I am unsure if an Olds is the same as a Chevy.

Body parts aren't interchangeable between the two.

I hate to bring up yet another old post but I tried searching to no avail.
Will the doors on a '68 Skylark 2-D fit a '69 GS400 2-D? My goal is to put wing vents on my '69 GS400 convertible. I'm not sure what options I have for doing so. I'm open to any options from just replacing the internals to replacing the entire door if necessary. Will regular two-door doors fit the convertible?
Thanks again, you guys are a WEALTH of info!

P.S. Unrelated to this, does anyone have lake pipes on their Skylarks/GS's? I've always loved the look and sound of 'em!

Are trunk and floor pans interchangeable?

Interior floors - yes. Four doors are four inches longer, and interchange with wagons and El Camino/GMC Sprint.
Believe most of trunk floor does, but transition areas to different tail pans make the whole pans slightly different across divisions.

Outer skins on 68 and 69 are the same. the body lines will match. The 68 inner door shell has provision for mounting the wing window. 68 A door internals and wing windows cross over to all B,O,P and C - A bodies in hardtop and convertible. 2 dr. H.T. and Convertible doors are the same for most cars, in most cases. 68 A body 2 dr. H.T. and Conv. doors interchange, or are the same.

In '68, the convertible doors have little rain gutters molded into the vent window frame that '68 coupe doors don't have. As far as putting '68 doors on a '69, I think you're good. (May confuse a few people). The only issue I could imagine is putting '69 interior door panels on the '68 door; you'll have to punch a hole for the crank and probably trim around the vent post a little.
