Congrats to Phil Roitman on his big win at MCACN. Phil's most optioned gold 73 Stage 1 4 speed scored a perfect 1000 points at the show yesterday but today they deducted 1 point for his fan belts because it said Gates after the GM part number. I was not there today to correct the judge because that should not be a deduction. Phil"s 73 tied Jason Lines 70 Stage 1 who also scored 999 points. Besides winning his gold award Phil also won the Platinum Pick Judges Award for best Buick. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
Got home a few hours ago, 13 hour car ride but well worth it. It is a must show to attend. The best of the best! Was good to speak with you yesterday Steve. Saw a lot of old Buick friends I haven't seen in years. There were probably 20-25 GS's there one nicer than the other.
Congrats, Phil it is always great to see you and your beautiful GS. Wish we had more time to spend together. Sorry I missed you John. Had a lot of fun seeing all my Buick friends there. Even got to see some big snow flakes falling. A must see event.

You proved it this weekend and all the credit goes to you for redoing a horrible/incomplete restoration from Then and Now that was worse than what I originally gave him at the start. Thank you. If anyone ever wants to see the documentation and pictures of what was required to get this car redone properly, I have a few hundred pictures to Now to Then /start to finish over a 4 year period.. The difference is like night and day.
