Hello all, I just saved a 65 sport wagon from the scrap. It's white with red int. I'm selling it because I need the room to save more cars from this yard. The good about the car is the roof ,1/4s , fenders,,tailgate, rear bumper, appear to be in good cond. The motor and trans is complete, original ,but in unknown running cond. The red dash is uncut with am radio and is in decent cond. The bad is the hood ,doors have some rust bubbles. The floors had the rubber floor matting and is very rusty. The front seat has broken loose from the floor. It has both the passenger door glasses broken and the windshield is cracked. The door panels ,headliner, and seats are very trashed. Overall it will make a decent parts car. The car is located in northern calif. Santa Rosa . $800

I prefer to sell the wagon whole, first but will part it after giving it a chance here first.

If you end up parting it out I would like first chance at the rear bumper. Thanks

I would be interested in the skylark emblems on the door panels in any condition. I would like to find a way to restore some of them.

Sport Wagons don't have red bird emblems like 1965 Skylarks. They have BUICK emblems but the same physical shape.

I have seen them both ways. I think the actual chrome cage is the same 64-5. I'm glad you posted because I should clarify that I am interested in the chrome with plastic insert style. I believe the 64 used the same plastic insert with a black background instead of red. I have saved several different types and was going to check on a restoration process for the plastic inserts.

Any idea what kind of shape the frame is in? I'd be interested in the whole car. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I have a sale pending on the wagon. Just awaiting for shipping details. The frame is solid and damage free. I have a local chevelle owner who also wants the frame and is checking to see if it's the same. If these transactions don't happen for some reason, thenI will let you know.

That frame won't work for any Chevelle, it's a 5 inch stretch at 120 wb vs. all other regular a-body cars at 115.
