Deeper than stock pans

    Considering a deeper than stock pan for a TH350. Recently installed one of Jims small converters, and looking to add back fluid capacity.

    The 3 quart ones are attractive, but concerned about height. 4" thick outside measurement would put me flush with the headers.

    Any recommendations good or bad? Has to work with a stock crossmember.

    Ive got a +3qt b&m aluminium. Its got a drain which is nice and temp sensor bung. Sits pretty much flush with my long tubes and I have scraped both. Its 4" off the ground but Im still on original clapped out springs. Cant comment on the crossmember as Im running a GForce..

    Don't get the Summit house brand, it's junk. The Trick flow covers are the best bang for the buck
