im going from a manual top to a power top in my 65. Did power tops have guide pins?

Later cars had pins stick out of the header bow that aligned the top with the top of the windshield.

Here is a picture of the locks. I guess i should remove them.

I don't see a picture. Pins on the header will be the same. I would be interested in the manual parts if you wish to sell them.

Thanks for the picture, Does the top bounce if not locked down? Another part you may want is the 4 hole dash panel and switch.
I added a couple of relays by the pump to avoid running all the amps through the switch

I planned on having relays. I was just going to cut a hole in the dash panel. I’ve never heard of anyone going to a manual top is there any reason in particular ?

I usually keep the top down and rarely use it. All my convertible parts are original and if it fails, I like the simplicity of a manual.
The front dash part should look good with a hole as the switch flange will cover it, but the back bezel has a "D" hole in it. I wonder if all Back Bezels are the same (with the "D" hole in it).
