Forgot to post on here, here's a link to the ad on the SYC forum. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=150019 The car is really nice, and drives like it looks, thanks.
Yep, one of reasons i purchased it was due to the heavy docs, and the color combo.. it really pops in the sun, Not really a Buick guy, but was told that in 71 (as opposed to 70) GS was an RPO, not a model, making documentation critical for authentification.
...didn't mention color due to bias. Sorry, you were told incorrectly. '71 VIN digits 2 and 3 represent Model, GS is 34 whereas Skylark is 33 and Skylark Deluxe is 44. RPOs were for 455 (A9) and Stage 1 (A1). GSX Package-Coupe only (WA5) which included Rear Spoiler, Rear Spoiler-Coupe only (WA6), Front Spoiler (WA7), and Hood Tach (UB5) were Flint-only SCO Options beginning Jan 4, 1971. Likely more than you wanted to know, but...
Still available, price lowered to 29.5 k firm . Will be a the GM show 5/18 in Northridge CA. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=150019
I'd have liked to bought it when you did, but it didn't/doesn't fit in my life. I have a thing for factory manual steering GS's and with an automatic is super unusual. Beauty. GLWS.
Does the "G4" for posi designate a particular ratio? I love the poverty caps. Bittersweet is my favorite color. I wish I could go to $29.5 but that's a bit high for me. Nice car for sure.
Not certain on the ratio, sure someone will chime in .Yeah, it seems to be out of everyone's price range, lol.
