That is definitely not Phoenix or anywhere in Arizona!

I'm so confused. the issue is the original seller's photos are on the CL link. Did the original seller sell it? Or not? If he did, then the new oner is in Phoenix AZ but using the photos from the original seller who is in San Antonio Texas? If the original deal did not go through, then why raise the price to $8000?

I think Smartin and I like the same colors of Buicks, that Bittersweet, Burnished Cinnamon type of hue. Because I like it too. That's the appeal here to me.

Yes, the original seller sold it.

Not uncommon to see people reuse photos if they think they can flip the car. Or the current ad may be a scammer of some sort given that it shows up as Phoenix but has a California area code for their phone number.

Original owner lived in San Antonio in the past but was living in Arkansas when they sold the car.

Yes, I sold the car on Ebay to a guy that lives in AZ. He told me he was going to restore the car. My guess is he changed his mind and it was easier to just reuse my pictures. I live in Hot Springs, Ar. and grew up in San Antonio, Tx. I hope this clears things up.

I sent an email to the seller. I am interested but I am not paying $8000 if it sold to him for $4750. I'll cover his costs. I am surprised this car has not been purchased by someone. It's likely a true Stage 1 hardtop in a rare color. No bench seat car either.

The seller got back to me and said the lowest he will take is $7000. He said he only bought it to flip it and make $$$. Never interested in restoring it.

He'll take less when he finds out he's asking 2500 to much

Donuts & Peelouts Life's 2 Short. Live like it.

Offer him 5.5k and try to settle at 6. Offer him real low offers from other peoples phones and talk crap about thrle rust and tell him hes crazy for asking for so much then you swoop in with your 5.5k.

Now that you have his attention and he droped it to 7k tell him heck no.

This method has worked for me. I use my friend and my brother to lowball then I come with the real money. Works most of the time

Dropped off Craigs List. I emailed the seller. He said no interest. Dropped price to $6700 from $7000. Seller was nice in email and stated what he had in it. Sounds like it was in Arkansas, not Texas. Now in AZ.

For 1971, how is a Stage 1 verified? There was a discussion further up about that, plus the old thread.

Better be some paperwork, i.e original bill of sale, build sheet, window sticker, and POP. Sloan records aren’t available for 1971.

Dropped a little lower. I’m on a business trip and weather in Iowa sucks right now.
