Great looking stage one 4 - speed unfortunately it wasn't born that way was originally Sherwood green, black bucket seat interior, black painted roof the owner states that the dealer made a color change to the interior and roof I hope he has paperwork to prove it if not this could be the new norm. I also would not say that now and then is the best in the business. Take a good look at the vin stamping on the block kind of ugly ??? Stampings all over the place they're usually pretty straight in a line.
Jason.I don't mean there's something wrong with it,I mean spending all that money, with a few $ more he could have had better stopping power.I'll see you in 2 weeks .Bruno.
I don't think anything disk brakes were fairly new technology when these cars were new not everyone saw a benefit for the money
Yes that is Henry's old car. I see the trim tag and envelope that has his name on it in one of the pics.
Ryan- when I looked at it, I thought it was Henry's until I saw the vinyl top seams.... Then I was sure it wasn't. Too bad whoever put a vinyl top on that car! From what I heard from those that looked at it when Henry had it for sale, it was "one of the nicest Stage 1 stick cars (they) had ever seen"...
Ryan here's a picture of the cowl tag Z 188 Black bucket seats, code 48 Sherwood green code 19 black painted roof was not recommended Hantz the Z on the Vin tag. I love the story of how the dealer changed out the interior and roof to white LOL. I guess that is the new norm now. Hell I'm going to change my numbers matching stage one to Bucket seats with a four-speed and say the dealer installed it. The guy does have a great collection of muscle cars but if you look at his collection why would he be selling the holy Grail of Buick muscle cars a 70 stage one 4-speed with the AC one of 54 made.
This is part of the window sticker I made for this car back in 2002, at the time Henry White owned it. It matches the sticker show partially shown in one of the photos. Henry must not have told me about the painted roof at that time (17 years ago). Unfortunately, body, top and interior colors are not shown on 1970 stickers like '71 and up stickers.
