So project Skylark update. My dad came over with his ignition box we hooked it up and the Skylark fired up. So that ruled out wires, distributor, plugs and a couple of other things. We shut it off and put the dwell meter on it and set the points, pulled the ignition box off and it started on its own. We shut it and when we went to start it back up it had no power. There was no power to the fuse box or to the alternator, we jumped a wire from the battery to the back of the alternator and it was able to fire up again. So I believe it is something with the wiring at the starter.

I tried to find a ignition box for my self but I can't find one, my dad's is an old s and g tool aid. You unhook the coil wire off the distributor plug this in its place hook up two clips on the battery and turn it on and it fires the plugs.

New presents for me. Collecting parts for things to come. Unless plans change. I didnt take a picture of the original steering wheel that I picked up. Thanks guys.

I kick myself for not picking up a 67 430 that was sized for 100 bucks that had the parts I needed for my 455.

Still collecting parts, today I sweat my noodle off for 2-1/2 hours and for 18 bucks came home with 2 jj 15x7 rally wheels. I am still debating about what I should do for brakes, I thought about just putting stock size disc brakes on the front in which I could use stock size wheels. I have also been thinking about the C5 corvette disc brakes for the front and putting discs on the rear and some sway bars and new springs for more of a pro touring car since my Camaro is more of a drag type car.
