Wide variety of fuel pumps can operate the system. think it works at 58 psi if memory serves. On the Nailhead pictured above, I used the FI Tech Command Center fuel pump under the hood on the firewall which was fed by a Holley blue pump already in the rear of the car. They have since discontinued that style command center pump and have come out with a new style pump called Force Fuel. looks pretty trick. these style pumps can be fed with the mechanical pump on the engine. I have done several throttle body style fuel injection conversions with various pumps, in tank, on the chassis rail, etc. More than a few ways to provide adequate pressure.
EFI fuel tank with their internal pump. The pump flows 85-115 PSI at 50-60 gallons per hour. I run as follows from the tank to the EFIs. EFI Tank/pump--->Aeromotive high bypass regulator* @65PSI**---> 3/8 steel braided with -8AN fittings--->Earls 175 GPH Billet Fuel filter - 10 micron filter---> 3/8 steel fuel line to front--->braided stainless lines---> 3/8 stainless fuel rail--->TBs (Deadhead) That puts a +15 PSI against the FiTech internal regulators after push through everything from the back and bypass at the tank. *Bypass from the regulator back int to tank **(gauge at the line before the EFIs) Hope that helps.
