1970 GS hood trim

Is the front die cast hood trim on a 1970 GS casting # 1231809?
I just want to make sure I got my original back from being rechromed.

 

Is the bottom flat or does it angle up ?

 

1809 is the GS molding.

 

Thank you for that clarification Fred. I know I checked it before I sent it,and it was correct. I just wanted make sure I got the correct one back. I sent it in December,and just received it today.

 

9 months for rechrome?

How rough was that when you sent it in?

 

It was actually very nice. I bought it from another member on here,knowing that they basicly charge by the pit,that is why I bought a nice clean core. Bumpers are a lot quicker,but when it comes to die cast and potmetal,it can take quite awhile.

 

Brian who did you use for the chrome work ?
