    1970 Buick Big Block GS 455 4 speed.
    Rare Muscle car, only 510 GS 455 4 speed cars built in 1970.
    Unlike most Buick GS cars that were typically high option, loaded cars with vinyl tops and AC, this GS is completely the opposite.
    This GS 455 was ordered to be a street racer.
    Solid Burgandy Mist with Burnished saddle bucket seat interior.
    No AC, No vinyl top, Manual steering ,Manual brakes, M21 Muncie 4 speed, 3.64 Posi G1 sales code High performance rear axle, F41 Rally rear suspension (boxed lower control arms and rear sway bar) and Am radio. This car was ordered with no wheel and tire option thus Buick delivered it with the no cost standard 14x 6 plain steel wheels with dog dish hub caps and G78-14 blackwall poyglas tires that are still with this GS 455.
    This car was ordered to go fast.
    This GS 455 is completely original, untouched complete car.
    Original engine ,trans, rear axle, wheels/ tires, interior paint and body.
    Included with this GS is original dealer Bill of sale, Temporary Registration Certificate sheet, Protecto Plate and Flint Sloan documentation.
    Car requires complete restoration.

    This would be a super cool car when it is restored. A proper restoration would be cost prohibitive for me but I hope someone saves it.

    Pfft.....drive it like that! I have one that's literally half the price that you could drive to Florida in. Runs 14's too :p

    I understand the charm of driving it as is. I love to drive my cars. I couldn’t enjoy them if they were too nice to drive. $22500 prices me out though.
     
  13. only two types of people who would restore that car and feel ok about it. a wealthy man who would throw $100 bills at it like confetti and a dishonest one who would rebody it.

    The only thing that would make sense is if someone had the satisfaction of saving it from the grave and planning on keeping it and never selling unless they absolutely had too.

    Me too and this would be a cool car when done. I remember seeing this one available years ago. If I wasn't up to my eyeballs and a couple of similar restorations, I would have been interested in some additional punishment (from the car and the wife :) )
