1970 GS 455. Engine has aluminum heads. B4B. Mickey Thompson headers.Stock A Arms. Fiberglass bumber. Aluminum radiator. I can relocate battery to trunk no power steering manual disk breaks. Fiberglass stage 2 hood and no inner fenders. I bought some trick springs from someone years ago. Havent finished the car and sits to high and so stiff. What would someone who has something similar recommend or is using? Thanks in advance

If they are morose front trick spring I think you can cut a coil maybe more off the adjust ride height without changing the rate

Trick springs can work but sag quite a bit when they sit for a while and aren't the greatest. That being said we ran them for a while until we bought some Santhuff.
If you know the weight on the front end and take a few measurements Santhuff can hook you up with a set and they will work and be the correct ride height that you're looking for. Not expensive either.

There are 4 different pairs of Trick springs for the A-body cars. 170.180,190,200,or something like that. The 170’s should work great in that car. I have a set in my 72 that are either the 180’s or 190’s,and that front end is real low. I did not cut them at all. It launches perfectly. Obviously one single part can’t do all the work by itself though. Good adjustable drag shocks, front AND rear will help get you going the right direction.
