Apparently he's never heard of Ferris Buhller..... it's going to turn into an important life lesson and he and his dad will realize how much they love each other, so wrecking the car was actually a hilarious yet touching incident.
I don't know Joe, I think it's fake. I haven't driven a standard in years, but I thought they had safety crap for that. I think maybe he hit the car somplace else and staged this to explain to his Dad and collect insurance. I'm always leery when I see a camera focused on some event like this. It doesn't make sense.
Yup, my kids bumped and banged there way through new driving. Thank god nothing serious and hope it stays that way. Oh and both have driven stick shift cars. One full time and other in training. Also both have watched Ferris Buhller. I can't hardly watch it anymore myself but hey.

Two major lessons to learn, clearly dad never explained to his son the basics of driving a stick..........dad fail. I cant wait till my boy is old enough I can take him out to learn and practice the basics. Second lesson, clearly dad didnt park his car with the brake on........if he would has even as dumb dumb like making sure it's not in gear would had stalled or at least slowed the car down.. Too bad there wasn't a video of him telling dad......lol
Dad seems to have a pretty nice collection of nice cars... not sure if that is the front end of a Charger i see at the very end....
The other kid probably dared him and he took the dare, nothing fake about it, kids now record everything. At least he was smart enough to know "he's dead"
