Red Line tire kit. Anyone used one? See link

I am seriously considering this. Red line tires are very expensive for me to purchase here in New Zealand. Seems like they will look pretty much like factory.

Ed, I saw a very new black Civic last year at a car show that had red lines on it. It looked great! He told me this was how it was done.

 

I used Tredwear to put letters on the tires on my Opel GT. They worked out great. The hardest thing is cleaning and prepping the tires to glue the material on. iT's similar to patching a bike tire once you get them clean.

 

Yeah I hadn't thought of that. Is it a vulcanizing adhesive?

Ed if u use then get the red line in 1 length try and find a line on the tire as a border

 

Yes thanks Steve. I saw that tip suggested on a video as well. I did get one length.

 

Ed have acetone ready if any glue smears on the tire hit it with in a minute also try and have a extra pair of hands around
