Does anybody else prefer to daily their classic over their more modern car/truck?

I personally do! My 65 Lesabre may not have all the creature comforts my 11 F250 offers like sound deadening , a/c, ride quality ect ect. But I just like jumping in the Buick and taking off.

It may not compare to any 2020 model but I don't care. It puts a smile on my face everytime I crank it over and hear that cold start echoing out the flowtech mufflers.

The smiles, waves and thumbs up from fellow motorist is just the icing on the cake.

Here's to us all may we be blessed with many more years behind the wheel of our classics.

I love my Riv. Get stuck in a work truck 100 - 200 miles a day. Driving the wifes Fusion Hybrid is nice, quiet and comfy but not the same. Lately I've been thinking about getting a 99 Riv as a driver.

When I worked for another company I use to drive an hour to get to the shop to pick up my work truck. I would take the Riv atleast 3 times a week. Now that I've been working for myself the last two years I'm stuck with driving my truck and trailer everyday:(

I like driving my GS and GN to work as often as I can during nice weather, the biggest thing I miss are cupholders for my morning coffee.
I like the older (70- up to 87) cars for their simplicity, and in my opinion, the newer cars are great for their quietness, and gadgetry, their build quality and their cylinder head advancements.
Newer cars computers are too intrusive, but I guess thats a good thing since a lot of new car owners dont really care about "driving" the car.

I drive things older than I am every single day no matter the weather. My daily is an aluminum head big block 1974.

I have my 66 Wildcat and an 2012 F150. These days, the F150 is lonely. It only goes out on dump rums and when I carry my Grandchildren. Otherwise, it is the Wildcat all the way!

Yes. In the summer and fall we drive the vintage cars as daily drivers. Not in winter though.
