To my knowledge, the global search function (and advanced version) allow you to type in keywords and restrict the search to a "Forum Section". Is it possible to restrict the search to a specific thread?

I wasnt able to find a search function within the thread. I know browsers have a "find in page" function, but when you have a mightly 20+page thread, that is not feasible option.

    TIA

Yep - just click in the search box on the top right, just under your screen name and inbox tab. You'll see different options after you click...

The best way I’ve gotten results on this board is to go to Google, type your search in, and add site:v8buick.com at the end. It will only pull results from this board by doing so

Thx for the reply. With that function I dont see an option to constrain the search to only a thread. I see where i can search within the forum section (like Small Block Tech). I want to search within the "A guide to building the lil guy. The Mighty 300" only, which is currently sitting at 22 pgs.

Thx Louie. This has the same issue as above, not a focused enough search as it pulls hits from the whole site.

You can find a word in the page using the browser search function - upper right 3 dots. Not perfect, but cuts down on the search size.
