Hello. I’m trying to remove both front inner fenders on my 69’ Skylark Custom Convertible for some repairs and clean up. I took off the tires and tried dropping it down with no luck. Do I need to remove the fenders to remove the inner fender?
    I appreciate any advice!

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

I have used small cargo strap connected to the rear outside edge of the inner fender where it mates to the outer fender (where a mud flap would be mounted) and the other end connected to the front lip of the inner fender, tighten a little at a time, and it will flex/bow enough to allow the inner fender to clear and rotate it (aft end) out of the car.
Passenger side rotates counter clockwise out, and clockwise back in place. Driver side would be clockwise out, counterclockwise in.

Let me know if that helps. It makes sense as you do it.

I leave the strap on the inner fender until ready to put back in unless it is going to be out for a long time.
