    thanks Jason. Clutch just feels heavy. The only thing I have to compare it to is my 70 charger 440/a833.. which was much lighter. I also have to basically floor it through the firewall to get the safety switch to engage. not sure if that’s normal, or if there is even adjustment there? Right now, it looks like only reverse needs to be adjusted on the linkage.

    I am wrapping up a vacuum brake conversion on my GN and exhaust, then will get back on this car. For now it sits

    Manny - I've had good luck wrapping the exhaust pipe under the car. It "moves" the heat to further back. Keeps the floor boards cooler. Heat shield(s) under the car is another option. Flowmaster sells a nice kit for mufflers.
