    Hello,
The 1970 GS 350 I purchased this winter, doesn't have the evaporator box in the car, a previous owner installed a block off plate. I only have the blower motor section, evaporator, hoses , compressor, under dash pieces and condenser in boxes. Is the Evaporator box (case) specific for Buick or can I use one from any A body from 68-72?
I have the inner fender that I would like to install, but it looks like the A/C setup needs to go on first...... so I am looking for one if anyone has any leads.

    thanks,
    Kirk

I think the evaporator box is interchangeable with the other '68-72 A-bodies. Some of the later boxes appear to be made from a material that looks slightly different (kinda gray color) than the earlier boxes that are a darker color.

So I have purchased a setup from a 1970 Chevelle, to include evaporator box with everything still installed, the compressor, condenser and hoses. Which type of manual do I need to see exactly how things go together. I have many of the original Buick heat & A/C parts, but the condition is currently unknown. I want to at least have working heat before I install inner fender.
    thanks, Kirk
