19 and 34 was a bit too much. Pinged at lower rpms. Having trouble finding stiffer springs in my stash. I could cut a coil off a stiff spring to make it shorter i suppose.

Top two springs are fine. I think it is coming in early because it's less. I'd try the the computer gadget again to compare. I did a Desktop Dyno with that cam and got 185 cranking compression with 10.5 compression. With the cam 2 degrees advance peak TQ at 4000, HP at 4500. 2 degrees retarded peak TQ at 4500, peak HP at 5000. 15.5 vacuum. I used 17 initial and 33 total timing. TQ is better with cam advanced. About 20FTLB. HP was better retarded. About 20HP.

Buick 350_page-0001.jpg Graph with your cam advanced 2 degrees. At the flywheel. Deduct 20% for at wheels. Ignore the Mustang title on the page.

That seems quite a bit more than mine. I will try to do another run again soon to compare. Thanks again for all your help!! :)

Desktop Dyno is very optimistic and in a perfect world. Also, I do flywheel HP with no accessories. Good for comparing cams though. Should be 256HP and 272TQ at rear wheels.
