Please say/send Prayers for Dennis "Wheelz" Wife. She had a stoke Friday evening and is in the hospital. I just saw this on Facebook.
Just heard from Dennis. He said that his wife is improving every minute and to thank everyone on V8 for their thoughts and prayers. UticaGeoff
UPDATE: Thank all of you, Dear Buick Friends! The Power of Prayer is incredible!! Briefly, my wife (64) suffered a CVA stroke friday March 9th. Rushed her to ER Morton Plant Hospital. At 1:30am, she underwent 3-Clot surgery base of her skull, very close to spinal cord. At 4:45am, after successful surgery, she was wheeled into ICU. She was WELL TAKEN CARE OF while in the hopsital. By Gods Grace and all the wonderful Prayer Warriors in our life, She was released and sent home wednesday evening 13th. She still has several concerns including blurred visual effects from stroke and slight dizziness. Home Health Care Nurses come to our home applying phsyical therapy and we go to Drs appts several times a week. Long, road ahead. Again, THANK YOU ALL for your prayers! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Sorry to hear this. They've made amazing progress in stroke therapy, my grandmother had a stroke in 1960, back the they put them in a nursing home and watched them die. Now, 95% recovery's are fairky common. Penny's too young for this, I hope they find the cause and get it corrected.
Praying for a full recovery! My wife had a small stroke about a year ago and lost her peripheral vision which came back six months later.
My thoughts go out to you. My wife had a hemorrhagic stroke back in 2010 just before she turned 51. She lost use of her left arm, weak left side up and down and short term memory loss. She is still with me as I refuse to let her just go when I still need her around. Best of luck to you both, and I hope she heals well and quickly.
