Even still.....it's not one countries fault for the others being overrun by terrorists...unfortunate absolutely that goes with out say....but in the end there will be more innocent killed and hurt....not Israel's fault....

Absolutely Patrick.....Netanyahu has had enough.....he has every rite to protect his people and while it will never "end"....you can at least get the enemy stronghold out from your back yard and eliminate the need for eyes in the back of your head....more power to them.....and you know who just needs to SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP

    Excellent analogy Hugger.
    You are spot-on.

I was actually talking about congress. They should draft people to serve in congress and then go home. The legislature should not be a full time job. They have too much time to figure out how to take our money and spend it on the mating habits of SoAmerican swamp rats.

Well, in your example, had the Amish been there since the dawn of history? Have the Amish always lived there, despite being run out and enslaved a few times? Do you deny the Amish the right to merely exist?

What a noval idea. I like it!
A little late to make that fly..

There needs to be a Max term serve, no more than two terms.

Congressmen don't need to have a Political Professional career.
Although, professional is a huge stretch. Vet

Lifetime politicians were probably not intended with the formation of our republic. Also professional politicians living in DC far removed from the people they claim to represent would be a foriegn idea.

Military should be required by everyone like Germany did until 2011. At the end of WW2 5% of all households had a family member in the military, now it's .5%. The ones who never served seem to be the ones who complain the most.

Are you in Largo? I live in Seminole, my shop is in Pinellas Park.

Military has it's advantages, one really huge gamble with your life, but it isn't for everyone. Glad it worked for you.
As to the war, it's a giant burn pile of bullshit, all based on multi-millennium oral stories of a theoretical promise from an invisible man in the sky that XXX people are the chosen ones.
Uh huh. Sure he said that. Yeah, that all sounds believable.
You would think if god wanted them to have it, he should probably speak up because lord knows humans are a devious lot full of hate, greed and lust.

There are degrees of innocence. There’s truly innocent, and then there’s ‘I didn’t see nothin’ innocence. The latter works until it doesn’t.

I'm pretty sure that Iran is behind the Oct 7 Hamas attack.. in an attempt to destabilize the region for their own long term benefit. Can't quite figure the angle yet, but that attack made no sense from any other point of view. I knew right away when I watched the coverage of the atrocities of the Hamas terrorists that it was the end for them.. Israel has long history of swift and decisive retaliation for any attack on their country. The question that remains is why did the regime in Iran decide to sacrifice one of their more effective terrorist organizations?

While the loss of the non combatants is regrettable, it is the unfortunate consequence of that Oct 7 attack. And the blame for those deaths needs to be laid squarely at the feet of the Hamas leaders, after their unprovoked attack on truly innocent Israeli men, women and children.

I guess we will see how it plays out.

Nobody denies that..on both sides but alot if not most of these innocent people are sympathizers with the cause....and that puts you in harms way...the young that don't get to choose make my heart hurt..and the ones that don't believe like those in charge but there again....if I have my family in a country that will most likely get my family hurt or killed...I'm leaving

hugger said "if I have my family in a country that will most likely get my family hurt or killed...I'm leaving" we did that! mom and us kids left Cuba in 1966, dad had to escape a few weeks later, we left with NOTHING but the cloth in our backs and my parents had to start a life all over again with 4 kids, just so we could have freedom.
Pray for those people that cannot be as lucky as to "just leave"!

The Palestinian people have bee ruled by and oppressed by the Hamas so long they don't know any other way of life.. What disturbed me was their chanting and celebrating after Hamas bombed Israel... For them(many of the Palestinians) it was a great day. I believe over 1000 Israeli people who were also innocents died. But when Israel retaliated, the fun, chanting and such wasn't so good. Innocent people will die in any conflict,it's just a statistic of war.The people of Palestine let it go for so long the Hamas and corrupt government grew to the point that caring for their people was no longer their concerns. Killing Israeli's and wiping their nation off the planet was at any cost. It astounded me that other countries let the US and Israel shoot down Irans drone and missles over their air space. I'm thinking these other countries seen how good the Israeli defense was that they better take a step back and look things over before taking a bite of the apple..

All comes down to what the book says...it does not lie..or blur lines..it's made very clear how Israel's future will unfold. People want to pick and choose what "parts" they want to believe or abide by....it's not suggestions or "maybes"
