hello! I have a 68 special deluxe. It came with a 2 barrel and id like to make an upgrade. I recently bought a 4 barrel intake off a 72' and I have a 69-70 q-jet(in pieces). I'm wondering will I have a tough time getting them all together or will they all fit together nicely. if not what will I need?
Throttle cable comes to mind. '68-71 350 4BBL are the same. Not sure the difference on '72 cables. Seems it'd be dependent on the car (or even carb) & not the intake. Assuming you have all the pieces for the carb & are proficient @ re-building Q-Jets (if not, send it to @Rob Ross), & reasonably mechanical, you should be ok.
