During WW2 my Dad was stationed at Bangor, ME. He was a civilian with the equivalent rank of Captain. His job was to analyze the cause of engine failures that were experienced by larger aircraft that were being flown to Europe. The unit that he was attached to had a mascot horse that would drink beer and eat hot dogs. Somewhere, I have a photo of the horse drinking beer from a bottle.

As to the photo of the horse - it's in one of two places one hard to get at, and one even harder. If I do run across it I wll find a way to post it.

Cat looks like my daughter’s. Her cat doesn’t like anyone but her. Hope your cat is friendly

Well, I looked in the two places and couldn't find the photo. It's not one that I would have pitched, so it's here somewhere. If I ever run across it and still remember why I was looking for it, I'll post it. I did find a vintage Topps Roberto Clemente baseball card. My Godson has been into baseball cards since he was a child (He's a professor at Harvard now). He told me that in it's excellent condition, retail is about $220. I'm sure that I couldn't get that much for it, but if I could get $100 it's a great find.
