Anyone have a correct 4 speed shifter handle for a 72 GS ? I have the absolute correct one for my GS that clips in and have not installed it just yet and currently have the incorrect bolt on shifter, anyway looking for a bolt on style that is the same as the clip in .
There is no correct bolt on 5335 handle. You'll have to drill and original to be able to bolt it on an aftermarket shifter
The attached photo shows my factory shifter handle next to the Hurst bolt on shifter packaging that is the closest I could find. The shape, style and contours of the bolt on handle mirror the factory handle very closely. The major difference is that the bolt on handle is a little shorter than the factory handle. I have used this shifter handle in our 70 GS for over 30 years and most recently in 68 GS in my avatar photo for 3 years going on 4 now.
