We need pro street cars to come back

Once saw a Pro Street 5th gen Riviera. Really cool.

 

Used to be a '68-9 @ the Nationals back in the '80's that was bada**

 

I remember that car, it was blue with a white vinyl top, I think it ran on alcohol- maybe? Larry.

 

Every time I go drag racing I think I should pro-street my Firebird.....

Someone has to have some pictures of it. We were staying @ the Ramada back then (before the Holidome was set on errr... "caught" fire) & IIRC the car's owner was staying there too.

 

Narrowed Ford 9” rear. Original modified back seat. Interior looks stock. And original sectioned, and baffled fuel tank. Tried to make the whole package look stock, it does.

I think it would look so cool to pro-street my 85 Crown Victoria 2 door. Even if I don't put steam rollers on the back. I'm putting in the largest tire I can under her.
