    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

I'm a big fan of two-tone cars with a painted top. It's cool that this one left the factory with the painted top and wasn't added later.

Legit painted top car (1 of 600 ish '70 GSs) & for someone that doesn't mind the spoiler (& other mods) & a bench seat, assuming it's truly as nice as it sounds and was born as a Stage 1 (trans or docs), it's not a bad deal. As we always say, you couldn't come close to building it for that.

Nicely options either way. Definitely not ordered to be a dragstrip terror.

Kinda suprising Buick even built these cars, let alone the low option &/or 4-sp. versions.

Buick had a lot of smart sharp engineers in their Engine room and design. Fast right off the showroom in 1970 with mufflers. Low option cars were ordered by the buyers like my car. The original owner just opted to upgrade a few things like tach gauges rally wheels F141 suspension an upgraded the interior. $4.398 The BB tran was a big part of the stage 1 success, no disrespect to the four-speed guys.

Correct and likely originally came with a clear overflow, since the "transition" didn't begin until a few weeks later & has the plastic radiator support cover with pointed lenses.

Didn't know they did painted tops; better for rust prevention than the vinyl ones, although a new one does look good. Noticed the pointed lenses but did not notice the plastic radiator support. Still a couple of things to adjust, but I agree, not a bad price for such a nice car...and you certainly can't restore one today for less than 6 figures unless you do everything yourself and don't put a value on your time. Personally love the bench with the armrest; you kind of get the best of both worlds.

    Hope he gets it sold...

    Cheers!
