I have a gauge jumper assembly that has an extra set of wires . They are approximately 30” long . 2 pink and 1 black go into a 2 blade connector. Would anyone know if that would be for a hood tach ?

Thanks, would anyone know what they would be used for?

I would think it was for the dash mounted Fasten Seatbelt light used on some '72s.

That sounds like that’s probably what there for since I did remove it from a 72 about 30 years ago. Finally getting to use it and I didn’t remember what they were used for. Lol
    Thanks for your help.

It looks to me to be what I call a gender changer. It plugs in to the standard wiring harness and then goes to the gauges, not idiot lights. The extra harness is for the seat belt light that was optional in 72.
