Anyone want to do some trading at the Nationals ? I am just looking for wall art kind of thing. If you have a few extra State plates (Don't care about the year) lets trade plates. I also want people to sign the back of them so when people ask me why I have that plate I can tell them I know someone from that state lol. Kind of silly but I think it would be cool in some ways. I have several from NC and I will bring other states with me in case someone wants one for wall art If you have a cool plate and just want to sell it let me know. I just think its fun to put these up.
If you ever decide to have a plate restored, be careful; I sent a four-numeral 1927 Massachusetts plate to a guy named Korrie in upstate New York. He had an elaborate website and I fell for it. My guess is that he still has the plate - the website disappeared and he stopped answering his phone.
Nope. I called the police in his town (I think I have his information in bookmarks, but for some reason it will not open right now) and they were looking for him too. Apparently I was far from his only victim. I am glad that you're trying to put a positive light on this though. I like the concept of "innocent until proven guilty"; in this case, as far as I'm concerned the pr--k has been proven guilty. He is nothing but a thief, and I hate thieves. I love the super cool plates some of you have but again this is just for fun. If you just have an old plate from your state thats perfectly fine. I was just thinking it would be fun to swap some with Buick friends. These are some of the extra plates I have as I have bought a bunch just for fun from estate sales and garage sales. So definitely stop by and drop one off and pick one up. Hope to meet up with many of you at the Nationals this year. Cheers. Should be kinda fun to see how many states I can collect.
