There's a link to the Bahrain quarter mile track in the United Arab Emerites. In one of the gallery pics, the scoop on the pro mod Corvette says "Pat Musi Racing Engines"

Yes Jim, please use the Barrett Jackson inspired politically correct terminology when reffering to fakes

On a side note- I saw the arabic lettering on the thread title and though for a second it was another hacker!

I'm headed over to Qatar soon (and maybe Saudi Arabia). It would be interesting to meet up with a few Buick owners over there and share some knowledge, I am guessing they are quite isolated and I might be able to help them out with the old Buicks.

Last time I was in Saudi, I saw no sign of any musclecar interest whatsoever. But I'm sure it was there somewhere.

What are the driving regulations over there like (speed limit etc..). kph? I couldn't really see if the Buicks had modified speedometers for kph.

Arabic (correct?) is a really beautiful written language. Nice links.

Actually I am not sure at all. I would never get behind the wheel there, I have people from my "host company" do all the driving. I was only there for 3 days before, and I honestly don't remember whether they are in KPH or MPH. Otherwise, as far as I could tell the basic rules of driving were pretty much the same.
