Hey Guys, with a little help from Dave Gramlow, O.K., a lot of help from, O.K. ------He did all of the work--------- I am finally able to post some pictures of my Riv. Hope you enjoy it, I sure do. The car weighs 4550 lbs. with me in it, has a 3.42 rear end, a 70 pound two piece driveshaft with 5 u-joints in it, and is just plain big. The First picture is of the iron stage-1 on the engine stand.
This is a side shot. The original photo showed the color very well. It was shot in 1989 in Chrysler Black Cherry. It is a little bleached out on the post, but oh well.
This is the 2nd shot of the interior. The front seats and seat covers came from RJS exactly as is and the upholstry shop matched the rear seat fabric and pattern.
This is a shot of the engine installed in the car. I know it's filthy, but c'mon I do drive the thing.
This is the last shot that I have and it is of the rear of the car so I will say that this is the end.
Heck, I just pushed a couple buttons and clicked the mouse a few times! Mark's right, the color looks much better than these scanned photos show. You need to find yourself a digital camera!
Very beautiful. I love that color and the wheels. Speaking of which... if you don't mind me asking, what is the bolt pattern and what are the wheels called and where did you get them?
i can't quite tell, but those look like the same (iirc) american racing wheels that yardley has. they might be be eagle alloys, though, i can't remember. either way, should be the big buick 5x5 bolt pattern. p.s. i love the car, of course.
wheels They are Center Line "Billet Star" wheels in a 5x5 bolt circle with 3.5 inch backspace in a 15x7 size. I ordered them from Summit Racing in 1992 or '93 I can't really remember, but they are still available. Thanks for the nice words
The hood scoop is a 1969 Boss 429 Mustang replica piece that I bought from Unlimited Products. The air pan was made out of a piece of aluminum sheet and a big piece of foam that was cut into a doughnut.
SWEEEET Mark, Very nice.:TU: :TU: The pic in your avatar always had me courious as to what the rest of the car looked like. I'll bet you really surprise alot of people with it.
That is one damn mean lookin' 67 Rivi! I have a 1967 Riv also, it is currently waiting for a level 1 engine from Tri-Shield Performance. Won't be running 12's, but it will make for one hell of a cruiser!
