The balancer and crank pulley fell off the engine at speed. It was not fun, but I limped it home after reattaching everything.

    Sorry kid i'm fresh out.

I'm about 92% certain that the lower pulley is the same between a short or long pump. I remember screwing around with it when I swapped my 430 into the 85 trans am. I believe i found only the water pump pulley is different. It may broaden your search some.

Edit- actually i'm positive. The only difference is a diameter change through the years. The pulley depth is the same. Otherwise there would be different brackets for short or long pumps, which there isn't..

I've got this one if interested. Pretty sure it's off a 455, needs blasting to clean it up better. Check measurements with yours. I don't see any numbers on it.
    2-3/4" deep, 6-3/4" dia.

I think I have an 8" one? But I wouldn't mind underdriving my water pump

I switched my water pump and crank pullies to a TA billet aluminum set and they're the underdriven ones. Just thought I'd throw that out to you as an option?

Hi John,I did check mine,so I have 2 that are 2 and 3/4 tall, one that is 2 and 15/16 and the last is 3 inches tall. One of the shorter ones is exactly the same as yours,as it has 12 holes, not 6 and the # is: 1382532,the other one is 1382552,and the last one, the 3 inch tall is 1235821.The other one I cant't read the #.Bruno.

This is weird, mine is 2 1/2" tall when it sits flat on a table. What type of pulley is this?
