I just wanted everyone to get this on your calendar. The Puget Sound Chapter of the BCA will be holding the 13th Annual All Buick Open in Puyallup, Washington, Saturday June 10th.

This show has grown to one of the largest Buick shows on the West Coast, and the premier Buick event in the Pacific Northwest with 125 - 175 cars in attendance each year.

Contacts are Doug Wolford 253-770-1413 or Greg Powers 253-874-6390, or email Greg Powers powersfam@qwest.net. If you are a BCA member the entry fee is $10.00, Non BCA member $12.00, Day of Show registration is $14.00. We hope to see you there.

Address is 115 2nd Avenue SE, Puyallup WA in case anyone is using Mapquest for directions. It's at the site of the old Wilen-Cornforth Buick dealer. There are always lots of Buicks new and old.

Show starts at 10, but parking starts at 8 or earlier. If you don't get there until 10 or later you probaby won't get to park with similiar model cars. Awards at 4, I think voting closes at 1 or 2 (takes a while to count the votes).

Participant ribbons, Peer Judging, 1st, 2nd and 3rd awards in all classes. Lots of good food and fun, and there is a street fair going on, so all the stores are open, and there are arts and crafts booths, food booths, BEER GARDEN :TU: , live bands, inflatable toys for the kids, etc., perfect for those that don't want to spend all day looking at Buick's (not sure who that would be).

There are about 20 different classes, so there is something for everyone!

There are lots of pictures from the last couple of year's show's in these threads. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=71605 http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=40043

I have attached a copy of registration form for downloading. Please note that there is an error in the classes on the form. The "Gran Sport / Gran National Convertible" class is really the "Gran Sport" class, both hardtops and convertibles, and the Grand Nationals have their own class.

They are renovating downtown Puyallup so the parking arrangement will be a little different than usual, and you will have to enter the show about 1 block north of last year. Please be patient with the folks putting on the show!

Hope to see you all there!

    Hi Chris,
Brenda and I will be there again this year. We will most likely come down Friday night and stay in Bellevue. I will bring my 67 GS which will hopefully be finished by then! Is the Olds/Pontiac show the next day? :Brow:
    See you then!

    Harvey,

Let me know if you want to caravan down together. If you don't think you will have the car done, let me know a few days in advance, and I can get the Stage 1 cleaned up and you can drive either it or the 70 convertible down, your choice, assuming I haven't sold it by then. The Stage 1 is a lot more fun to drive now after Rick worked his magic on it.

We have reservations for Friday and Saturday night in Bellevue. I will definitely want to caravan with the rest of the crew Saturday morning. If my car isn't ready I'll let you know. I would be happy to drive either of your cars to the show.
    Cheers

in the middle of the street like in 2003 which I think
    is a nice place anyway.

I was thinking about trying to get up their this year with the 71 4 speed but everytime I think its a sure thing something else comes up. That and I am planing on going to the peach city cruise in penticton BC. And was trying to save my money for the gas for that trip.

But this show was a lot of fun I drove up in the 72 convert in 2004. I think eric was parked in front of me with his gsx those were some very good parking places I will have to aggree with eric on that :TU:

I was hoping to get some feed back on the car but I am alittle afraid that I would get alot of crap for not painting it the stock color and adding flames coming out of the ram air inlets. Looks cool to me though.
