    Hey guys,

Looking for a set of 15x10 5x4.75 with 5.5" backspacing wheels to mount my slicks on. Anyone have a set of inexpensive wheels they are looking to get rid of?

I have a set of aluminum 15-10,but I think the backspacing is 5,these have the holes to make sure the slick does not travel when you take off..I'll make sure tomorrow about the backspacing..I do have another set of 15 by 10 inch, also aluminum, better quality, and the are 6.5 back space.Bruno.

    Thanks Bruno,

Meassured off the hub face and I have 7 1/2" to the inside and 6 1/4" to the outside lip. So it looks like 5.5 to 6 backspacing is what I need.

A baseball bat does wonders for that little added clearance :D.

Out here in WA there is a brand new set of Buick Ralleys, made by McWheels, 15x10 with 5.75 BS, but they probably don't qualify as "inexpensive". I am guessing you would be looking at spending $500 or so.

Yep there are a few choices I have if I were to spend that much but I have a hard time justifying the cost to only use them a couple of times a year.

The summit house brand wheels are like $95 and they offer a 5.5 bs I'm pretty sure

Yep I saw those. Will do that if nobody has anything used cheaper.

Well bit the bullet and bought some 10" wide steel rally rims with 5.5" backspacing. 28x10.5 fit with 1/2" to the lip and 1" to the inside. Took it out and it doesn't touch anywhere.

Wow! That sure doesn't look like a 10.5" wide slick. We ran 30" x 9" on the Cutlass and it required a little "re-contouring" with a baseball bat to clear.

When you put a 10.5" tire on a 10" rim it really "squares" it up and doesn't look as big. When there off the car they sure look a lot bigger!
