    A 1931 Buick had back up lights? As I recall, my '33 didn't.

    back up lights were an accessory even in '55 (on Special and Super with safety group option)
    Standard on Roadmaster and Century

    I never thought about that James; my two '55 Specials (both standard shift) didn't have backup lights, my '55 Century (Dynaflow) did.
