Looks like it might me a nice car for someone, Kind of an interesting model as this was the first Cadillac attempted to attract buyers to it’s fold with a lower priced car. (Not counting the LaSalle)
Entry level Caddie, no big deal, it's still a V-8 car. It's got very nice period (Art-Deco) lines, the colour is appalling but probably original, and the price isn't bad. If I was close enough, I'd go look at this and seriously consider it. The engines in these things were almost bullet-proof and were used in the Sherman tanks during the war. It's a flathead V-8 and it was peppier than the Buick straight-8 of the day.
And the V-16 would be smooth, silent and brisk...not to mention a work of art under the hood. The new flathead V-8 offered I think for the first time in 1936, yeah, lacklustre to look at, but smooth as silk.
