Hello guys, I have sort of a strange request. I need a picture of someone's rear seat and armrests. The upholster is coming to the garage and asked me if I have all the interior trim. I told him the only thing I'm missing is the rear armrest. So he asked if I would be getting them and I told him I'd like to. But when I type it into google nothing comes up. Someone please help!!
Ok, now what model (number or description: 2dr hardtop or sedan, wagon, 4dr sedan...) and pictures of the area. Some had a half donut like the front...others had it as part of the panel.
I don't have a picture of the tag and the car is at my garage. It's a 2 door hardtop special roll up windows. When you say it's part of the panel, is it molded like your convertible with the courtesy lights? I like that.
Similar to the convertible, but no lites (can be added) or ashtray. 54-56 small body 2dr hardtop (46R, 66R) Specials and Centurys would work. I think that the 2 dr sedan is different.
Thanks for your reply 322bnh. So all the dimensions for the back seats are the same? Does anyone repop them? Does anyone have a set laying around that are for sale?
Is it remotely possible these are the same? https://www.danchuk.com/ItemForm.as...Category=12193725-48ec-4f31-ae77-a1b57296949b
I doubt it...I have always been disappointed when tying to fit chevy stuff on my Buick. just buy these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Buick-Special-2-door-hardtop-right-rear-lower-door-panel-/172029113328?hash=item280dbbf3f0:g:qcQAAOSwxN5WbhEm and here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Buick-Special-2-door-hardtop-left-rear-lower-door-panel-/181961012884?hash=item2a5db8b694:g:b6oAAOSwp5JWbgn4 Not hard if you look
Here's another question to throw at you guys. Does anyone know where new front and rear seat foam can be located? Is that the same as a 55 Chevy or is that also different? Thanks in a advance.
I agree with Willie, trying to use Chevy stuff has always brought disappointment. I would try to build it back up my self, with some material from these guys; http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/seatcovers/seatcoveracc.htm
