Not inline but that it one awesome looking car! Never heard of a "Limited 756" & don't recall ever seeing a '50's Buick like that. What makes it so rare/desirable? GLWS!

756 is the model number for the 700 series 1958 limited convertible
    only 839 were built

most of them are nowadays residing in sweden, i saw nine of them at a car show there

for only $13.00 more you could buy the convertible instead of the 4 drs hardtop riviera model
and the 2 drs coupe was even cheaper than the sedan...?

double checked the info above with another book:

    md22523366801.jpg

slighty different pricing, but still almost the same difference between the 3 models and the 2 drs coupe is still cheaper compared to the 4 drs sedan
there was also a "stripped chassis" limited available for 1958
    model number 701
    only 72 were produced

i think those were used to built hearses and ambulances?

    heres a 1958 limited ambulance:

This car is the longest Buick made . It has a 127.5 inch wheel base . When parking it takes up 1.5 parking spaces in length lol When going around a corner , it never ending lol If you ever see one in person pictures of these really don’t do it justice. I have attached a picture of the car parked beside a friends Honda CRV to give you a better idea of scale The other notable fact is that both RM Sotheby’s and Mecum in their write ups on these cars advise there maybe 20 left in existence today. I’m not sure if this number is a global or North American number.

Thanks - Learned something. Again, very neat car. Super sleek how that rear lower quarter blends w/the bumper & wheelwell trim. Can't imagine restoring one. GLWS.

every model year has at least one car thats the longest buick of that year :p
the mid 70s Electras are the all time longest standard production buicks: 233.4 inches
1958 limited is over 6 inches shorter

...I remember the '58 Limited well, its size dominated whatever space it occupied. The ones that came thru our (upscale) dealership also had Air Ride. '58 was pinnacle of Harley Earl's tribute to chromed opulence. Yours is a fine example of that period in Buick history. Good luck with your sale!...
