Hello, is it possible to mount a '59 Oil Filter to a '58 engine? I've bought the Filter Element P122 that should be in my car, but there is a Filter Cartridge PF24. The Oil Filter Socket between 58 and 59 are different, so it is not possible to change only the filter. Thought that my engine is no longer a 58 and was changed to a 59, , but the engine number fits?! There is a adapter kit available to convert the '53-'58 to the PF24 oil filter, google nailhead oil pump adapter kit or go to http://centervilleautorepair.com/
