OK V-8 Buick People: I like it. A lot! Might need some messaging. I'm a weak in the knees sucker for this car! If I was a bit more flush and the price was better I'd make a play for it! Mitch

    Gary,
    I have a 60 also with buckets.

Could you do me a huge favor and take a close up picture of the drivers power seat switch?

Mine has been missing since day one and I need a picture to go by.

You have a beautiful car there, I wish you the best with your sale.

    Regards,

    John Fritz

That is a Craigslist ad, not Gary's. That's a beautiful car BTW, I dig it!

Good luck John. I wish it was mine. I love everything about this car especially the condition of the interior. Couldn't restore one for anywhere close to $20,000.

A 60 Invicta is on my short list either a coupe or convertible. Lovely car. One thing that bothers me about it is the interior, obviously spent a good deal on having it done, but it doesn't appear to be done with the correct materials. If spending that kind of money on the interior re-do seems silly to have not done it right. I would consider this a huge negative at the asking price. Still a beauty thought

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

I wonder if it's the same as my Riv's switch, which I just happened to drive today, without the blanks on the side of it. UP, DN, FWD, BACK.

Knowing what it would cost to resto one of these, to me it's worth what he is asking, but he did say OBO. I don't care if the interior is correct or not as many interior fabrics are NLA and I think it looks fine. More than willing to endure smirks from purists if I owned this car.

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

The seat pattern looks right, but the vinyl grain is off. The power switch in those was a single 4 way switch like the one Lucas has. It's pretty uniform across the whole line of GM cars.
I had one of those in a 4 door flat-top, always wanted the coupe with buckets.
The price is a bit rich, but if it's a serviceable driver with no serious issues, it'll probably bag that price.

OK V-8 Buick people: The listing is down and I heard the seller was overwhelmed with requests. A crap presentation put him in this position. A good presentation with quality pictures and a modest reserve on the ebay would sell it NOW! Mitch

Mitch,I'm not sure I know what you mean? ("A crap presentation put him in this position") If he took the ad down it was probably because he sold it crummy pics notwithstanding.

OK Gary: This was posted on the 1960 Buick Universe Facebook page. Lots 'a guys wanted to make a play for it. The presentation was crap. pictures sucked and the description left a lot to be desired. One guy claimed to have talked to the seller and the seller said he had offers and who the hell really knew what really transpired. The seller could have sold it, he could have taken it down due to the rabid responses he got? Who knows? Mitch
