It's not the lighting, it simply doesn't match. Nice car otherwise!

It doesn't look like it matches to me either. I was merely passing along the owner's response.

John, do you recall noticing the mismatch when you saw it in person at the Nats?

When I get to my 67 Sporty I will probably end up with more in it than someone would give me. It won't matter. It will be built for me. I get it. :D

I spoke with him too and same answer. He said to me that if I wanted it he would take different pics. Its a nice car and he sounds pretty firm close to 20K.

Usually w/metallics but how often do we see this issue when the panels aren't painted in the proper orientation? Or on original cars being that the front clips were painted at a different time.

Seriously, maybe he doesn't see it. I had a guy that worked for me and I happened to park one morning perpendicular to his truck (he was on the end of a row & I'd backed in at the end of the lot so I was 25' away) and noticed his front fender didn't match. I said something to him and damn if he hadn't just the day before been talking to the foreman about how perfectly they matched his paint. Well he thought the foreman said something to me and it was all a set up to mess with him, lol. He truly believed it matched perfectly but it didn't.

It would cost well over $50K+ to do this car. It's cheap!! This is a high quality build!
