1964 Skylark wiper motor

    I have a 64 skylark and the wipers won't park... I have attached a photo. A friend found a good write up on the motor and testing (also attached). I removed the motor and bench-tested it. I have confirmed that the problem is with the motor, not the switch or the wiring.

    My preference is to have this one rebuilt, since it's the factory part.. Replacements run from 80-150 plus grommets and gaskets. Has anyone had one rebuilt or bought a replacement??

    I bought a new one (2 speed for a 64, like yours) on line (Rock Auto) and he helped talk me thru bench testing and proper function, etc.
    Doing it again, I would just go through him and have him rebuild the original.
