Hi, i have been working through a zillion bodges done by previous owners as what happens when you get cars this old. Anyway, removing the kick down i noticed that the "plug in" connector wires had at some point been cut and just poked down out of the way, and out of sight. from the pics you can see its not the trans connector, nor is it the wire into the loom on a quick release plug. What has been cut is the black 2 core wire that is not part of the kick down assembly, but spade connectors on to it. Please can anybody tell me where this went, and what its for. will it kick down without it? cheers Andy
they keep the converter on high stall at idle, they go to the micro switch on the back of throttle linkage
super, thanks pal. yes i can see why there are stuffed down there now, look to be rare and like $100 on ebay
D-Day, I have more switches than just that one. If you still have the arm/linkage, I have just switches/harness I can sell cheaper by itself. PM me, will help you out.
