I wish Tom...both of these are uniquely cool cars. Pontiac seemed to be the one division where you could truly order all the great HP stuff on the big cars as well as wagons. Too cool.

Good luck with your sale....someone is going to end up with a neat machine.

    Thanks

The way that wagon is optioned, someone must have ordered it for towing. Pontiacs were popular tow cars during the '60's because of these options, especially the 8 lug brake option. I remember a very unusual '66 Bonneville 4dr that was for sale around here about 25 years ago. It was a charcoal gray color with black Cordova roof and black vinyl interior. It was a bench seat car with a lot of options. No a/c,though. 421 4bbl, 4spd trans, 8 lug wheels, posi with 3.42 gear, dash tach, rally gage cluster, am/fm radio w/reverb, p.antenna,windows,6 way seat, tilt column, speed sentinel, vacuum trunk opener, transistor ignition and HD cooling. Reminded me of a northern car someone ordered for comfort and towing. A local guy bought it and chopped it up for the parts for his '65 GTO. The car ran and drove but had weak brakes. It was like $900. I didn't have the extra cash to buy it.
